Not sure what they are called, but I had a customer in the lawncare and landscaping business ask if I can get the small tags that are put in yards after they are fertilized or sprayed for weeds. It's just maybe a 4"x4" heavy piece of paper that says to keep off the lawn for 24 hours, and there is room for a company name, logo, and phone number along with a place to write the date and time the service was done. They usually have two slits cut in them at the top and bottom so they can slide over a plastic stake that is put in the ground. Any ideas???

Not sure exactly, but you could try a wholesaler of lawn care products. They could have a source of these tags for their vendors. Or, steal one from a yard and take it to a local printer, and see what he'd do you some for.

Sounds like something you could do yourself. It wouldn't be that hard. Just get some 6ply polycoat and screen them and then cut them to size. You could make several hundred in just a few hours time.
But, if you're lazy like me, I'd contact Stouse. If the don't already offer them, it would be very easy to modify one of their existing products. The key is going to be the stake and how the card is suppose to attach.
Another idea is to use a company that prints post cards and does custom folding. I use 4over.com. A thousand cards would be cheap.
Dale, your idea of finding a wholesaler led me to stumbling across a lawn care professionals forum. Searched around there a little and found a couple suppliers.
Glenn, I thought about doing them myself, but didn't have an easy way to slit 1000 of them so they slip over the plastic stake. Stouse did have some similar options to what I was looking for as well. For some reason, I never think of looking through their catalog though.
I also found out on the lawncare forum that there are regulations in each state as to what info is on them, and how they look. Here is an example of what they look like......
