Click on "Take a virtual lap". If a page comes up that has a form to fill out, hit the "Back" arrow or "X" out of the page and click on Virtual Lap again. It should load. Then click on "The Track".

Hey Tony,

That was pretty cool....Some good racing at the Glen this past weekend.

I was trying to make it over there for the weekend but I could line up any tickets....hopefully next year I'll make it for sure. For now I'll have to settle for a trip to Loudon next month.

take care bud...thanks for the ride!

Wow, Tony.. that gets my heart pounding just riding along in the pace car. Do any of the drivers come up and bump draft you under caution the way Tony Stewart does whenever Brett Bodine is driving the pace car?

BTW- that was an exciting race, couldn't believe it when Jeff Gordon did the same thing as Tony Stewart did earlier and handed back the lead. Absolutely the last two drivers you'd think that would happen to when they're out in the lead...

Very cool Tony!!

I wish I could get someone to give me a month to practice in a Nascar car. I bet their opinion of women drivers would change quickly!! I love to drive fast and I think I know more about the setups than some of the drivers currently racing!!

Too bad it's getting so commercial. I don't really like watching any more. I live 20 minutes from Daytona but haven't been in years because it' so out of control on prices.

Brian, I was using a "special built" Toyota Camry. The Press Director was riding in the front (you can see her hair fly in front of the camera in a couple of the turns)and the cameraman was in the back holding on to the roll cage. The camera was bolted to the Roll Cage. With two people in the car I did a "conservative" lap. It hit 125 mph on the back straight. It is capable of more! I've had it faster but only when I'm alone in the car.
Amy, you should go to Sebring and take the Skip Barber competition school. It is awesome! Would love to see you in a race car! You are right! NASCAR is getting too commercial. Unless I'm working at a track, I don't watch it much anymore. They have totally ruined it! No more Qualifying, and the "Car of Tomorrow" has ruined the racing. The COT is a piece of crap! Jeff Gordon and Stewart showed how bad it handles at Watkins Glen. You talk about knowing set up. With the COT there is no more set up. The shocks, springs, transmission gearing and rear end gearing can not be touched. For different tracks, all of these items are mandated by NASCAR. Everything on each car is EXACTLY the same (bodies included)! Tony Stewart stopped the race altering Debris flags! NASCAR is killing itself.
Still, it is great to be able to go fast once in a while!!
