The last time I spoke with Al Sunuta he was lettering a truck on 9W in Congers NY and that was in 1992, 15 years ago and he was old then. I was living right there in Haverstraw. We got along well and quite the opposite of what others said as to me bothering him. As a matter of fact we got along quite well in the hour or so it took him to hand letter the truck and put his scroll work on there too. His work was never perfect by a long shot and the scroll work was off by a mile but his authority of the brush was superior and well tuned in to what persons asked of him.

Thats all I have to say
