These are photos of the last two days here. The number on the left is the temp inside our work area. The number on the right is the temp outside, but not in the direct sunlight. The sensor actually sits inside my rollup door. It has been crazy here lately.

Our weather is total humidity (like 99%) with very high temps. There were storms and flooding all day and even a tornado report about 10 miles from here! Love.....Jill

We've been around 100 with the heat index at 106. That's in the shade. Have no clue what direct sun would be. It's too darn hot and I feel terrible.

Ninety five here today. I don't think we've hit a hundred yet this year, although I spent the last two weeks in Alaska, so how would I know?
It certainly wasn't too hot when I was crawling through crevasses in glaciers up there and gazing up at Mount McKinley from the back country at Denali National Park. I was going to get a few hours of Alaska mountain flying instruction the last two days we were there but the weather turned nasty and rainy and I didn't get to fly.

It's been up around a hundred degrees the last few days here.... with about 60 to 70% humidity. The heat index has been over 110 degrees. They've been calling the UV index '10+ Extreme'.
Our outside thermometer probe is on the side of our building, (so it picks up some heat from our building)... yesterday when the sun was shining on it, it was reading 121 degrees...
It's been HOT!!!

Up here at 9500 ft above sea level, it's a beautiful sunny, breezy 75 here with 23% humidity...couldn't be any better! Cools down to 50 at night.
We had been getting daily thunderstorms for a while, but no complaints
Hope it cools off for everyone soon

90's Lots of heat, and they call it the EWWW point, in the 80's for dew point and just stayed for days; it's not just tropical it's obnoxious. But, I'd rather have that than all the flooding they had here in our city, again, trying to get some federal money. Ten adventurous teens went rafting down the swollen creek the day after the flood, and one almost lost his life but they got him out ok. For me, I'm really glad for the rain; we needed it, just hate to see the flooding in the low areas.

It's rare here in Upper Michigan to have a summer where we hit 100. Days in the 90's, a couple is the norm. I've had 100 6 times already and so many 90's I lost count. High humidity to go with it and no rain for weeks. We're looking more like a normal Texas... all the grass is brown. This is some weird weather.

We have separate AC units for the office and shop but haven't had to run it in the shop much this year. The shop is shaded quite well which helps a bunch. I'm running the AC in the office at a higher temperature and supplementing it with fans by the work stations.

I've been in NC for the past week with the temps around the hundred mark and the humidity kinda drippy sticky moist. It'd cool down to ninety at night. Yesterday I woke up in NC and went to sleep that night on the north Calif coast in 60 degrees. Today warmed up to the mid seventies. Sure is nice to be home.
