J, guess all but one on ya list there are history. libby was down in south Florida when Don Ives and I were there in the early 80's and he was pretty old then. Johnny Pinstripe and Frankie Wheelchair were inseparable back in Brooklyn in the 50's Johnny used to take me up to Laconia to stripe back then. Vic Kessler died last year or the year before, he was noted to have striped more Mercedes than both Ives and myself. Then theres Frankie Bird who was on Long Island striping in the late 50's near both Howie Nisgar and myself, Frank also taught Tom "itchy' Otis the basics and how can we ever forget Andy Southard who worked and striped at H&H auto body on Sunrise hwy back when I used to ride my bicycle to get tips from him and practice there. That should take care of Queens, Brooklyn and Long Island during the 50's with Ives starting in the mid 60's. Of course there were other stripers who were awesome but hadn't emerged yet as that wasn't the Golden Years or the info your asked for. I do however have some of those names like Alex and Seth.
Somewhere in my family memorabilia I have a business card of mine my mom saved when I had cards made when I was about 14, who knows when I'll be comfortable to go through all that I have. speak at ya later Jules

Hey J, I have some photos of some Chuck Babbitt aka:Shakey Jake's stuff. I think my truck was the last vehicle he striped. I also have a toilet seat he striped for me back in the early 70's. Let me know if this would be of benefit to you?
