Esteemed world traveler plans west coast visit.

Yes, the one and only Mike Meyer, Sign Painter, of Mazeppa, MN is again traveling the globe. He will arrive in Seattle Saturday evening, being lured in by Dr. Evil's Lair for a long awaited meeting of the minds. After a tour there, he and Caleb are off to Washougal, WA. From there, they may run over to the ocean, but if there are any Letterheads in the area that would like to meet up with them, he asked me to post his cell no. 507-421-3940 -- give him a call. The plan is to head back to Mazeppa on Monday. Perhaps there is time for a few of you Northwest Coasters to swap a few sign stories with them before they are off.

More journeys await them both. Caleb begins a new chapter in his life, and for Mike, the Wales meet is the next stop.

May the wind be ever at your backs, gentlemen!

I forgot to mention that Mike will have the chance to check this post at the airports, so folks interested in meeting up with him might also respond here.

Enjoy your time.

Will Mike be in the CA area, I remember he wanted a sign I have in my back yard. Or are they flying around?

They are flying, Cisco. Must be a big sign.

Why don't we have a "Letterhead Shipping Network" set up? It seems like there was something going on after Pierre's meet a few years ago. That beautiful composite carving that Dan Sawatzky ended up with was shipped through a network of sorts, wasn't it?

Anyone have the scoop on that?

It's OK if I hijack my own post, isn't it?
