Hi, I did get the original 4b plotter to cut a huge amount of letters on the 4th, and had to work to weed them, but today, it's jagged on the lines that are deep enough. I took apart the blade holder, (as I failed to do that before, just checking the black belts on the exterior). Now, the orange one is missing quite a few teeth and remembered an old post mentioning that. I'll try to replace that first, and wondered if there is price that is more discounted than Hyatt's. I know Gerber plotters were made by another company before they bought and sold them. What kind of price should I be looking at?

Thanks, Myra. I'll call them tomorrow. Last week the belts were mentioned in my post for help, but I was just thinking about the black belt that the blade holder slides on. I wonder if there is a local place to buy them and what I would ask for, which model no. etc. I may call Hyatt too. thanks.
