I wasn't expecting to see this but wow! If any of you get to Branson, MO this year, you should check out this little park called Celebration City. They have a huge rollercoaster and other rides for kids. Lots of gift shops, nostalgic food places, etc. But the signage is just unreal! Great window lettering, 3-D display signs, lighted signs, everything. Great colors, layout, cut-out shaped signs. I already got in trouble for taking pictures of them instead of the kids.
So yes, I am having a good time on vacation! It's good to get out of the shop but it is also like doing research and getting inspired at the same time. I will be coming home with lots of new ideas to try. They seem to be using a lot of vector art shapes and graphics as well ask Mike Jackson's Golden Era Studios clip art borders and shapes. Great stuff everywhere.
Gotta go and try to entertain the kids. Weather has been great for a change too. Silver Dollar City has some great work as well!
Sign-cerely, Steve

If your Kids take pictures of signs for you while they are on a field trip to San Francisco... you might be a Letterhead!
I got the chance to see Silver Dollar City and my favorite sign there was one that said, "We don't skinny dip, we chunky dunk!"
Be sure to take the train ride there! It's quite entertaining!
