Talk about overkill... Four 14" letters - 1" thick stainless. Believe it or not these are for an interior wall for a gov't contract. Anyone know of a source...Gemini's catalog only goes up to 1/2". Thanks... -------------------- Pat Neve, Jr. Sign Man, Inc. 4580 N. US 1 Melbourne, FL 32935 321-537-8675 Capt. Sign http://www.twitter.com/Pat_Signman http://www.facebook.com/PatNeve

We use US Sign too. I'm looking at a sample of a stainless steel 2" tall reverse channel letter right now. Excellent craftmanship. -------------------- Brent Logan Reno, NV

I haven't used US Sign yet but I've seen their work at trade shows. Flawless. No one would know it wasn't solid stainless. -------------------- David Harding A Sign of Excellence Carrollton, TX

I also vote for US Sign. Steel Art products are similar, they just aren't good. US Sign's are flawless. -------------------- Paul Luszcz Zebra Visuals 27 Water Street Plymouth, MA 02360 508 746-9200 paul@zebravisuals.com

Surely they are talking about a pan faced letter not 1" thick stainless steel? -------------------- "Werks fer me...it'll werk fer you" Monte Jumper SIGNLanguage/Norman.Okla. jumpers@itlnet.net

Thanks all...I got a quote from US and it was reasonable. Monte, I believe that you are correct; 1" thick stainless is just ridiculous. The will be channel letters. Thanks again... -------------------- Pat Neve, Jr. Sign Man, Inc. 4580 N. US 1 Melbourne, FL 32935 321-537-8675 Capt. Sign http://www.twitter.com/Pat_Signman http://www.facebook.com/PatNeve

Gemini is now doing fabricated letters also. Quality is excellent and delivery is about 8-10 days. There should be a page in your Gemini catalog. -------------------- Don NelsonGemini dnelson@axcesswave.com

If it's only 4 letters, you could make them yourself, couldn't you- which letters & what font? (stainless is a pain to drill, but it welds easily & cleans up nicely. What finish did they want- brushed metal, or a mirror polish?) -------------------- "Stewey" on chat "...there are no limits when you aim for perfection..." Jonathan Livingston Seagull

Thanks for the response Don...I gave the quote in June and haven't heard back from the contractor. Ian...they wanted a mirror polished finish. I'm no good at welding so that's really not an option. Thanks anyway... -------------------- Pat Neve, Jr. Sign Man, Inc. 4580 N. US 1 Melbourne, FL 32935 321-537-8675 Capt. Sign http://www.twitter.com/Pat_Signman http://www.facebook.com/PatNeve
