Only three more weeks, the blocks we had booked could only be kept until June 15th and the city was heavily booked so the rooms will disappear fast. If you can't get a room call and we will see what we can do to find you shelter.
We are all getting pretty excited and things are falling into place. There are five beautiful murals that are going to come to life.....Some are still in the "perfecting" stages, but they are exceeding our expectations and they were plenty high with the project leaders we chose! The burrowing owl signage looks great, Rodger is a very entertaining fellow....his project should be a riot! The 1915 REO Speedwagon Fire Truck is decked out in a lovely new coat of white paint.....There will be lots of gold and striping to deck it out. Rick Janzen and Bruce Anders will be spearheading that project, but I hear there are some very qualified "helpers" looking to join in.
The Goldfather Banquet will be held Saturday night. Anyone who wishes to participate in the tribute is most welcome to either speak or send me a message. The Jordan family will be virtually present thanks to Live Global Bid Anyone with pictures of John that would enhance the Digital Montage, please email them to me....I can still use more. I know there are lots of favorite stories that feature John Jordan, his zest for life and mischievous ways saw to that. Email them to me, we'll use what we can.

I'm happy to hear you and Sue are landed and spending a nice time in Chilliwack. British Columbia is a natural wonderland for sure. I hope you drive up the Jasper/Banff Parkway on your way here. The Rockies are spectacular there, you'll never see anything like it anywhere. Have your camera and wide angle lens at the ready. Watch out for wild life on the road, especially around Jasper. The sheep and elk are very brave and sometimes think they own the road. LOL. Moose and bears are common too... then there's the mosquitoes.... It's going to be a marathon between now and MJ. I glad we're a part of your adventure. Just a hunch, you probable hate Fosters Beer and The Outback Steak House... right? LOL.

Hi Dunc and Kelly not long now before I join the great letterhead trip to Canada... Can't wait! BTW... I've never been to an Outback Steakhouse.... and never drink alcohol....didn't pick up the habit... So I'll see ya soon!

Any thoughts of one of you Ozzies kidnapping Dan and Donna and bringing them with you. Dan gives great tours of the Mall, you even get to see the underground highway under that thing.

Light speed is right Duncan...will try to pack up today to leave tomorrow(sunday)and stop and have a visit with our daughters on the way and will arrive in MJ monday AM....Talk to the Toowoomba man his self yesturday...sounds like they're have'n a good time and are excited...For Kelly and crew its making sure all is in place, I'm sure her phones bin ring'n non stop...As a host the combination of nerves and excitment are enough to wind one up tighter than a drum, but don't worry Kelly as things get rocking & as folks arrive it all just settles into a dull roar, and before you's knows it, its all over. Hang in there Lassie the cavalry is comming...
