Ugly @ss dinner plate sized glasses.....

Some retro 70's styles should never be resurrected....yech!

I bet she paid 2K for those shades - she could have gotten an old donated pair from the Lions Club for nothing.

This has been a public service announcement....you may now go back to your regularly scheduled signmaking.

Yup. I noticed that first time I saw that style creeping back in. I thought to myself "Someone is mugging old ladies in Florida and taking their glasses".

Let's just hope people think it looks stupid and the fad dies fast.

I think I'll get me a pair of white dress shoes and a lime green leisure suit.

I think there might be a market for a nice window splash or at least a superbowl ad.

What do Paris Hilton and an understocked Walmart at Christmas time have in common.

They'll be out in just 3 days.

[Rolling On The Floor]

That's classic Dusty!!

Funny comments guys!

I just couldn't help it. I saw this picture on one of the news sites and it instantly brought up an image of those huge glasses wearing "superstars" Brett Somers and Charles Nelson O'Reilly (or was it just Reilly?) of Match Game 70X fame.

I had to look and sure enough - almost identical to Brett Somers.... [Eek!] [Roll Eyes]

I wouldn't be able to answer your question, Todd, because I have "MEDICAL ISSUES" and thus I have been "REASSIGNED."

Rapid Tac should be able to clean large surfaces such as those glasses. I may take a gallon or 2.

Other sayings that took off like "Medical Issues" is surely going to take off are:

REBATE -- Gerald Ford '70's
EXTREME -- unknown origin
FUZZY MATH -- Bush Jr., 1st campaign

I'm thinkin', I'm thinkin' ... Oh ...

MOTHER OF ALL ... Bush Sr., 1st Gulf War
SHOCK & AWE ... Rumsfeld, War with Iraq

Put them all together and start the conversation off with "Dude" and it could hypothetically go something like this:

Dude, I was looking for a new pickup at EXTREME Motors and I spotted a new loaded Dodge Ram. It was the MOTHER OF ALL 4x4's. The salesman presented me a figure with my trade in -- I think he was dealing with some FUZZY MATH. Anyhoooo I slipped him a figure of my own on a piece of paper and when he saw it his expression was one of complete and utter SHOCK & AWE.

He said "he didn't know" and I said "I didn't know either" and I said I would boogey on down the street to the Ford dealership to see what they had.

He said "don't do that" and something about maybe checking into a REBATE. I told him to check it out but if he couldn't match the figure on the piece of paper he must have some sort of MEDICAL ISSUE and should be REASSIGNED.
