Since last Tuesday I have been prepping, and painting a building (something I never done. I painted my house with an airless so what the hell...yeah I'll paint the building, 5,000 sqft) it's in the downtown area over here in Fresno, then I will paint their sign on it. So I was pretty beat on my birthday. Like most of you, I always read the BB like the morning/evening paper. Anyway I noticed a few more replies cool...

My lady friend who has been helping me on this project is burned out and crashed out early. Sooooo...here I am Saturday night, replying on the good ole BB.

After reading what Sonny Franks wrote, I get out the dictionary, because at first I thought it sounds like a some sort of a cat. I wanted to get out of this worned out working mode...I toss in Sonny's Bodacious Blues CD, pour myself a Tecate and some Clamato juice in a chilled mug, little lime. As I write amigo number 5 is on...Payday, it's a bad ass cd.

but I also want to take this time to say thanks to Ray Rheaume, for the many returns. I met you in Petaluma saw you were a man of many talents, and a great conversationist, great seeing you again at the Dixie. Thanks for the pleasure to get you on video footage you're an awesome artist!

It's midnight right now, so I am going to answer in the next fifthteen minutes, I need to crash out, got a wall to do...

Cat, I told some ladies that Blonde joke about the river how to get to the other side, they didn't laugh, I thought it was funny...

Dale my man, you are a dynamite artist. When I saw the photo with you and Jeff I felt very honored, but was too burned out to reply. So I'll say it here, thanks again buddy. It was a pleasure to have met you and paintin up the Falstaff mural. You really tripped out the people with the faux bricks

Mike Faig, great meeting you too bro, Letterhead Meets are the bomb

Barb, La Reina de Letterville. It's always great to see you and Steve!

Jill, beautiful...munchas gracias, there was nothin nasty about it. Love you too

Jake, right on bro...

ok amigos, my 15 has passed. until later.
To be continued...

Now it's Monday morning, no holiday for me, still at this wall bangin away, last night I was to burned out to type, and I know I just don't have the time to respond to each one. Getting ready to go back and finish this wall now with the signs. so'll try and make it brief...

Bobbie, great meeting you too, I'm sure we'll meet again.

Mr Rick Sacks, amigo it's always a pleasure to see and hear from you. Really enjoyed where and how your home is set up. it was a cool visit.

Mikey, one of the coolest sign painters I've met. Never thought I would end up in the coldest part of the country in the winter, but you got me there, and I had a BLAST! Can't wait to take another ride to Mazeppa...

Sonny, Hey man thanks for the compliment, I know who Federico Fellini is now. Now about this "Red Door"...

Jon, hey neighbor from the Merced area, thanks again for the Linseed oil, that was pretty cool of you...

Mr Diaz, buenos dias. It's always a pleasure meeting up and having a cold one with you, thanks for the interview amigo.

Bernie, the Crab Racing King, great meeting you too.

Jimmy, never got to meet you, but thanks for the wishes. you never know we just might meet some day...

Si, thanks for the cake, and the emails. I wrote you back, but it came back. Anyway as always...Mar Harba

Jane, at this point in time I would love to take a break. but the show must go on...

Ricky Jackson, I bet you are one of them wild and crazy guys from the deep south, it was a pleasure having lunch with you.

Deri, saw some of your work in the sign mags, great stuff...thank you

Dusty, hey I can't quite remember the cig trick but it was pretty cool, oh the thing goes over the 'n'

Jeff, my man. Really cool meeting and working with you. Got any more Duct tape for the scaffolds hahahaha that was crazy huh? OSHA would have loved us in Lincoln...

Mr Dan Sawatzky, The Swiggly King, I still have your brush you gave me. Thanks amigo, for letting me sign your wall in Lodi

Sam, man that was almost 10 years ago, but I still remember that day with you, good ole Pat and Ma King, all I wanted was some Salsa. You all were really cool in AL

Duncan, From Lodi to the Dixie lets go have a cold one amigo.

Mr Crazy Jack, your are the coolest! so can I have that Pabst Harmonia?

Santo, never got to meet you, but I'm sure one day we will...

Miles, great meeting you too. Ready for another cold one on the streets Jacksonville...

Bob, thanks again for the CD and those were some pretty cool stainless steel bottle tricks you did in Dixie...

Rich, Road Trip, hell man lets go!!! But we have to hit Winnamuca first. The Fresno heat, ah man piece of cake. Jst wear your white painter paints and a white long sleeve shirt, bring a radio, big jug of ice cold water and paint as fast as you can so you can get the hell out of the heat!

Ol Paint, you got me on that one. can't say I know what that means, but if it from you it must be cool

Bruce, great meeting you in Mazeppa, have to hand it to you, you have a great script in lettering.

Rusty, thank you too bro...

Deb, always a pleaure having a conversation with you. Your a woman of few words, but you know i'm just kiddin...thank you amiga

Nancy, the boldest sign paintin lady from the east side of the Mississippi. Also with a golden heart 'thank you so much' showing me parts of Georgia, I really enjoyed it over there!

Mrs Alicia, don't get me started, but thanks again...

Jay, every think I hear Aero Smith's song 'Pink' It reminds me of you. I wanted to add that in the Lodi DVD. oh and sorry I didn't get back with you on your post about the clears, but hey I might be using some of the Jet Clear soon.

Sal, Q-VO carnale. It was a real pleasure to meet you in Dixie, not to many of us brown brothers in the signfield, unless you come out this way and go south. You do some fantastic work amigo!

Ms Judy, an honor and pleasure to finally meet you. thanks again...

Linda, heard you was going to the Dixie, was looking forward to meet you, maybe a next meet...

Donna, now you're one lady I would like to meet in person. Who knows, maybe one day I'll make it up to Dan's place because I'm thinking of building me a shop, need all the ideas I can get. you seem like a really cool lady...

well folks, I'm gone. got to do some Walldogin on walls of Fresno. They say our downtown is dead, so Cisco will have to sling some paint and Jazz up the place. Love you all, as I ride my scissor lift into the sunset of walls, I wave my hat and say adios amigos...
