Thanks for somebody answering the question I asked on the last page. Alas, Sapphire is no more but I kinda like that Kafka stuff.
To get rid of a customer, I act as if I have an install or something if they are in the office and wasting my time. If I am on the phone with one, I say the UPS truck has just pulled in.

Dale, that sounds like "Alsa"... please post your results!
Brands- hadyn, lang nickel, mack, pinceau, alligator...no single favourite, just favourite brushes for specific purposes.
OOPS, I was beaten by a few posters...
Jane, a dream day, will be that- dreaming in bed!!! Actually, it'll be a day helping the kids on their projects in the shed.
How quickly do you clean out your brushes after a job?

"O" followed closely by "S". Can still remember how thrilled I was when (after hours/days/weeks of practice) an o looked like an o! It is also all freehand, as a beginner you can always cheat on A's, T's etc. But a freehand O or S, no way. Q's are cool too however, can an ampersand fit in there somewhere as a "letter"?

What overseas country would you like to visit?

I haven't used lard oil since the time that some varmint ate all the hairs off a whole bunch of brushes. Now I use mineral oil from my local drug store.

I would have liked to be 20 at the time when World War 2 started, and have just joined the Army Air Force... There's really nothing that could top dog-fighting in a P-51 Mustang.
Looking forward in time, what technological advance are you most eager to see?

I'm glad you added that "WORKWISE" there Dick! Especially after that first part! We are not "backed up". We are aproximately 1 month "scheduled in advance!" What's the funniest post you ever remember here?
