I'm just dragging this morning for some reason. I have absolutely no desire to be at work and it's only 9:30 and I can tell I'm going to be about as creative as a cinder block all day. That's bad considering I'm supposed to meet with two clients today to try upsell them on their signs.
This sucks, anybody want to go fishing?

Sometimes when that happens to me Patrick I get out some of my magazine subscriptions and leaf through. A few minutes with SignCraft, Sign Business, Letterheads Mag (or any of the others) can make a real difference for me. And then look at your own portfolio. It can surprise you that looking at your own work how inspiring it can be.
And perhaps a double large coffee with sugar while you do that?

Did you stubb your toe on a piece of furniture when you woke up this morning? That's always good for the "Spiraling Attitude of Death"
Jill's actually right on with this one.. sorta. You do have to decide to turn your attitude around, find something positive about the day to focus on.. like "Yeah!! I get to meet with a couple people today, and I'm going to light a fire under 'em, upsell 'em on all kinds of cool stuff and take all their money! WOOOOO!!!!"
Then split and go watch a movie like Todd suggested, just leave the gun at home along with the funk.

Ha, an alligator gar. (I shouldn't be reading the "ville" right now due to a heavy work load, but, I am in that mood too; just don't want to work.) Alligators are awesome creatures; they provide for many, many other species of life; and that ugly, prehistoric alligator gar is eliminated! Those darn gar eat everything like some jokers that crash a party. We caught one in s. Fla when we fished in a creek; and I never saw one till then; I'd been fishing a lot around the country. It was so ugly with it's prehistoric teeth, you think it was a practical joke, but no. So, the story goes on and on, but, that "does" look like some long gator gar there! Ha, ha; story made "my" day!!!!!!! have fun fishing, it's a good thing and yes, bring the chocolate too.

Si knows all about bait! You might say he's a Master!
I have been having one of those days all week. But I've hidden my don't give a crap and persevered. All except for yesterday when someone called and asked if I could make them a 4x6 banner for $20. It was really hard not to utter a sinister laugh and hang up. Love.....Jill (who has 4-4x8s, 2-2x6s, 1-3x5, a banner, 24 RTA windshield banners, 2 vehicle letterings, and sketches to do before Friday)

...the only thing I didn't get to were the sketches. I also made an In Memoriam windshield sticker, 5 jobsite signs, and RTA for a 10' trailer! Ha! I even had to fix an old pool rules sign for the township. Kids had picked off the letters to say: *Pregnant --men should not use the water slide. *-----asses must be secured before using the slide. *Persons under -8" tall may not use the slide. *Persons over 30- lbs. may not use the slide. ...and that darn thing had been clear-coated with automotive clear to avoid this whole scenario! Am I having a beer right now? Damn straight! Still smiling too, even tho someone ripped off my artwork for a billboard. Now I have to plot my revenge. Love....Jill

I've got 7 full jetski graphic kits to make, a few sets of race numbers, two articles to write for a couple magazines, race photos to prepare for printing, a couple t-shirt designs to work on, but right now I'm heading down to the beach to ride jetskis. It's a good thing my work is in the jetski world otherwise I might feel guilty 'bout knockin' off this early for some fun. Aww who am I kiddin'? It's ALL fun!!
