Just wondering if you save/keep a copy of all your ripped eps files?
I have been and my hard drive is getting pretty full. I was going to burn them and then remove them, but I have all the original files in corel or signlab, so am thinking it really isn't necessary. I think I just answered my own question, but just wondering what others do.

Hiya Suelynn, I thought you were getting out of the business, what do you care? Unless you anticipate that the job will be a repeat order, don't bother saving the ripped file. I normally delete the file after the job is complete and the client pays for the job. One last thing, before I delete the file I will make notes on the work order that pertain to any print settings and/or adjustments made in the rip software.
Havin' fun,

We do about the same a checkers, we delete the rip job, make notes of changes, and we usally put a downsized sample with the files and job sheet.

I save all my files and burn them to a DVD. Ours are .psd files. I guess the best way to get a re-order is to delete them - just like when I used to throw away pounce patterns that I'd "never use again".
