A customer with a rental shop wants the company logo on a piece of stainless that will be attached to the back of a large barbeque but positioned an inch or two away from the back surface.
We both agree vinyl would suffer and I think I can manage the painting with the proper primer but I am not sure if 1-shot holds up to heat very well. Any Ideas would be appreciated

You can buy a heat resistant enamel at the hardware store. Use a vinyl mask and spray it on. I don't know what you'd use to prime stainless steel with; that's a complicated procedure. It might work with just a good cleaning.

Try to find some "XIM flash bond 300 clear". You can type it in on google and maybe find a supplier in your area.

I live in the heart of BBQ contests. The world championships are held on Riverside Drive in Memphis every year. I've painted more cookers than I care to remember One Shot holds up just fine. I'm with Jack, XIM will stick to dang near anything.
