Serge,

These are very unusual pictures; I just can't imagine the thrill it would be experiencing this; thank you so much for sharing these. We don't get to see something like this everyday, now do we!

Deb, I wasn't sure I was physically fit for this trip, sitting behind computer all day long had me doubting but...we did it.

Every trip we take I still look for some unusual signs, old habits die hard.

Serge,
After looking at your photos I must say that you sure take great images.
What a pity I didn't get to meet you as I just love showing off our beautiful country as Steve & Barb will testify. How long where you here as you seem to have packed a lot into your visit?
I see, like me, you have a great interest in wine so what did you think of NZ wines?

Norman, we spent almost 3 weeks and that was barely enough.
I think that New Zealand today produces one of the best and reasonably priced Sauvignon Blanc,
so-so Pinot Noir which will improve drastically with vines planted getting more mature, mediocre Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot blends, Riesling which should not be grown in NZ period and very decent Gewurztraminer.

I liked Kiwis as the people and wish we got together in Auckland, we had a few extra days on our own there. Hopefully the next time.
