I like the site its simple and easy to read. Only thing I didn't like it when it said the horse gets glued on the sign, I'd change it to say attached, I don't like the term glue, oh well

So Ernie built the router from scratch! WoW! That gold surely does glitter, Diane. Nice colors, nice website. Those are some pretty signs. I bet you are happy you can do a lot of the work yourself; that's pretty cool in this day and age of massive computer stuff. An old-fashioned gold leaf sign is a pure pleasure to look at these days; I really enjoy looking at the wolf and the deer-nice. I can't wait until I build mine next month! I'm going to learn, but, I don't know how good it will turn out.

Looks great to me. How's it going to look to Google? Will I still be able to find it by Googling "peeling painted signs, Albany, NY"?

I think that's great, it's simple and easy to get around. I don't like it when you need to wait for a site to load then scratch your head trying to find what you need .

Usually when someone starts with, "My son in law did it.." I lower my expectations to prepare myself for what I'm about to see. (You all know what I'm talking about!)
With that said...
I think he did a great job here! Much better than the one I paid for! He deserves a pat on the back & a HUGE tray of cookies don't you think Diane?
Time for me to upgrade.

Hiya Diane, I like it overall. It's very easy to navigate and straight forward. There are two things I would suggest. First is it would be that you appear to have the content fixed in the center position of a 1024 x 768 page. So, even though the content fits in a smaller window, I still have to scroll left to right to get the content to fit and look right on a smaller screen. The second is that the large blank space to the right of the thumbnails doesn't look right when I visit the gallery pages. I would like to see some sort of default graphic in that space when I open up the page. However, when I roll over the thumbnails that image could change.
Havin' fun,

My only thought is that you might want to have an email addy that can be clicked on for folks to contact you. Just a thought. (Or maybe I missed it??? )

I actually wouldn't have any email addy at all. Don't put it out for the world to see and harvest. I would instead add a "Contact Us" web form that goes right to your email after it's submitted.
There are actually some free services out there for forms. Like www.mailmyform.com . You can create a simple form and use their script to get it to your email. I've used them for years.
Lookin' good Diane!
