Hi all can anyone help me find a site or who has synthetic grass(fake grass) as a texture background aerial view. The client sells synthetic grass and would like it as a background in their logo. I have a sample but it is not high enough dpi/res for printing. Thanks

I Mark,
You could check out some 3D modeling sites for texture maps (images of different surfaces). Some are free but usually you have to pay for the hi rez stuff. Or you can do what I do when working on 3D models, buy a 3'x3' piece of turf or better yet, get a piece from your client and take a picture of it. Load it into Photoshop and tile it together. You can use the stamp tool to get rid of the seams if it’s a problem. If you go to turbo squid site they have links to other texture map sites. If you get an image of real grass you can alter the colors in Photoshop to get it look like turf. Good luck.

Here's a good site for image maps

This is probably gonna sound dumb, but...

What about using the default backround (Bliss) in Windows XP and just slicing off a patch of grass?

Might work...
