I am looking for a source that I can purchase high resolution pictures from. Images of food right now and possibly Italian scenes things like that for a new pizza place.

I have seen people at mall (I think in Florida) that had a big printer set up making posters and they had a catalog of almost anything. I talked to him and he said he just paid a small (royalty) fee to get the high res photo and he could print it for customers.

Just curious if anyone knows anyplace I could do that.

Thanks, JAKE

Jake - You might try Corbis.com.

There used to be a website called photodisk.com, try googling photodisk and search from there.

Best wishes. Vic G

Comstock and Corbis are great sites but spendy. I usually start with www.dreamstime.com first since its really cheap and the images are good just not quite as good as the others.

Corbis owns istockphoto and now even has to subsidize it because istockphoto's pricing doesn't allow them to make any money. Irony. I'd stay away from both, but I'm a photographer and they're both known for paying a pittance.

Try StockExchange for free: http://www.sxc.hu/

From there you can also switch to StockExpert with good pics, but not cheap.

Just checked this out again and found out that they now sell single pictures for as low as a dollar. Can't beat that, eh?

Hiya Jake,
I'm probably too late, but I just remembered this site...
Mainstreetmenus.com
It will forward you to another site, and you'll find a lot of menuboard info, including some images.

Havin' fun,

Checkers
