I have a Roland 48" plotter. There are two tape strips with graduated markings (in white) that are used to register the vinyl for tracking. I need to replace one. I tried rolanddga.com, but their parts list did not include this. Anyone know of a source? Or, if not, any idea on how to do this myself? Thanks, Tim

I was just about to order a Roland cutter protection strip for my 24" from signwarehouse.com I don't know if they have the guide strip tape or not, but you could try them.

We finally lost our registration marks on our Ioline.
I loaded a roll of vinyl then kept running it back-and-forth for about a foot or so until it would run pretty straight. Then I made sure that the pinch wheels had enough room to run the material about 10 feet.
Once I was sure that this was PRETTY STRAIGHT, I made a line with a sharpie marker. This platten is grey so the black worked fine.
In the past, I would do the same setup but use a vinyl stripe instead of a marker.
You can do this multiple times on the same platten if you have different areas to set up.

Ive only changed one on my anagraph in 3 years, but i will try that on the next one.
