Hey southern letterheads, family and friends, Please let us know how you're doing, if you need anything. It's coming our way north, but, we hopefully won't get the killer winds as you do. Of all places, a school. God bless.

We doing good right now..I say this because the internet is still working. There have been several tornadoes come through town, one came through our front yard. No one hurt at my house but 2 people have already been found dead and many trapped in their homes. Thats really not good for a town with little over a thousand people living in it. Thanks for checking on us.

Tornado warnings, watches, Doppler indications, and panicked phone calls all day here..... "There's a tornado at 'so and so' and it's coming our way.."
But we didn't get hit, nor anyone in our area, as far as I know... so considering ourselves lucky.

We got a little rain and a little wind but nothing that amounted to anything. It's odd, my parents are 30 miles south of here and they have trees down everywhere, no power, roof damage and minor flooding.
Considering the weather warnings all morning and the disaster in Enterprise, AL we're extremely lucky.

We had severe thunder storms here...no damamge. A tornado did touch down a few miles south of us doing quite a bit of damage to property. We are only 40 miles south of Americus,GA where it hit a hospital. There is extensive damamge to the downtown area and 2 lives were lost. Also Newton,GA was struck and 6 lives were lost. Newton is about the same distance south of us. Patients from the Americus hospital were transported to the two hospitals in Albany. Sure am thankful that our area was spared. Judy

One touched down in a trailer park about 20 miles away. It did close to $20,000 of improvements. It rained cats and dogs at my house, blew over a bird feeder but I probably won't claim it on my insurance.
