Hi everyone. Has anyone had any experience with Inktek inks? I'm afraid to buy them because they don't say eco sol Max, they just say NAtural Eco Solvent. Also, do you have to flush the system before using them?
Thanks Felix

there's nothing wrong with the roland inks...some folks just feel the need to save some pennies i guess. i personally don't want to mess with trying to figure out profiles etc. for the small amount i'd save.

It's more than a small amount that you will save. We use Triangle Inks with refillable cartidges. The package came with a new pump because the inks are stronger than the regular Roland inks. IT BITES HARD!! You can get ICC profiles from www.printingdigital.net I use one profile for almost everything. That profile prints TWICE AS FAST as any Roland profile I've had at 720dpi.

I can't complain about Roland Ink...very pleased with the Roland printer. Saving money is saving money. Especially if it offers perhaps longer/more durable outdoor life....
Jerry, I am going to check out the Triangle Inks. Are you using Versa Works for RIP?

I am using ColoRip. We have had our VersaCamm for 3 years now. I love it.

It will void most warranties. Our machine only had a one year warranty and was going on two years old so I jumped at the chance.

When I ran my first print with Triangle inks I took it directly from the printer and tried to wash the ink off with PPG DX330 prep solvent. It did not take one bit of color off the print. I then took the same solvent soaked towel to a print that was over a month old with ROLAND INK and it washed the ink off immediately.
also, it dries faster so you will not have as much trouble with prints sticky together as it wigwags out of the printer.

I am in no way affiliated or paid by TRIANGLE INKS so these are honest testimonials.
