Ah yes, you are right, actually 3 of the links did not work, because we forgot to upload the zip files for these links. Everything should work now.
We do have intent to sell individual images and in fact we have a system set up loaded with thousands of image, but there are some issues and this is why we haven't launched it yet.
BTW what individual cost per image you would suggest as reasonable?

OK, seriously, Vector Art Mega Collection started out at $1.00 per image. Then they raised it to $2.00 per image. Now I see they are up to $4.00 each with a 50% discount on 25 or more images.
Personally, I wouldn't hesitate to buy images at $2 each. When I bought at that price, I would usually buy a few extras that I liked so I ended up with 5 to 10 images, just to make the charge on my credit card worth it.
At $4.00 per image, I will probably just buy what I need at the time.
Your ornament collection is sweet. I'll be saving up for that one.

Speaking of Vector Art, we are just about to release Mega Collection 3. We will start shipping in late March. It is a wonderful collection, if I do say so myself. It has been nearly 3 years in the making, and, as always, every image is edited to perfection.
Sales for 3D Vector Art models are also very strong, with jewelers, sign makers, mold makers and all manner of CNC output. It is really enjoyable to meet so many new people who have figured out incredible and innovative ways to use CNC models.
Remember the CarveWright discussion? Those folks are going strong and making signs like crazy. Do check out the forum. People are trying to figure out how much they should charge for a carved sign. It all sounds so familiar. The plan is for 20,000 machines by the end of 2007. The concept is a huge success...way beyond any one's predictions.

Thanks for the suggestion Dave. The problem with the low price ($1-$2)is that if someone buys one image the credit card transaction fees will eat them up, making the deal beside the point. $4 sounds more reasonable option.

The price per image discussion is very interesting to me because the higher and higher price from $1 to $2 to $4 has only increased the revenue from web sales. I suspect that the web site is reaching customers outside the sign market, and folks do not mind paying $4. We regularly have customers who download 30, 40 and 50 images, but do not seem interested in the CD value where they may buy 6500 images for $299 MSRP, and a whole lot less if they buy from among our 300+ distributors.
In 1989, my company invented Vector Art and we were selling 25 images on a floppy for $50 then. Our customers thought that was a terrific bargin. As competition began to nibble away at our market, we continued to offer more and more for less and less to maintain market position and share. I am thinking of dropping the prices radically on MEGA 1, 2 and 3 in the future to continue this trend for CD sales. My business strategy has always been about volume and to offer the customer a huge amount of value for a very reasonable price. However, the web sales seem to be going in the other direction and some sites are charging $15 or more dollars for an image. Go figure. It's a living!
Some people have e-mailed me about the poor taste of my touting my products on this thread...sorry about that, but I must say you folks will love MEGA 3. It will make a lot of money for whoever buys it. You will pay for it the first week you have just like all the other Vector Art collections that we have offered to the industry in the last 18 years.
Keep grinning and having fun with signs,
Andrew Holmes
