feb 20 was on the table AGAIN... this was a simple and quickest one since i was diagnosed with bladder cancer. 3 tiny tumors, and one the size of a pencil eraser. i got the best kind, low grade, non invasive. they can do these little procedures for 20 years. still no fun!!!!!! HAD TO PUT ON THE DAMN GOWN,RAY.... why dont they put long tie things on them? to cheap to make em a foot or 2 longer????? jesssss THEN.....once you get it tied....you get to O.R. they want it UNTIED!!!!!! what a waste of effort. anyway it was 9 am the put me out, 11:30 am i was awake, and 1 pm they sent me home!!! i let hennie drive from jackson ms to hattisburg, then i felt well enough to drive....on the road i get stopped by some drug task force unmarked car....guy asked me how i was doin...told him where i had been that morning and was trin to get home to get some good drugs in me....for the pain...i was doin 75 in a 65....he asked me to slow down and have a save trip and hoped i got feelin better.

Glad to hear you are doing okay OP, and that they are monitoring you so closely.
My grandma had those 25 years ago, and she's celebrating her 90th this year. I guess we need to remember those stories when we complain about the medical field. They still check her every year and she still has them removed occasionally.

For a man that likes to be known as the "Speedo Torpedo", you sure are whining a lot about that hospital gown. You're just like Jake, always something wrong with his gowns too, some evening gowns and some night gowns. Hope you beat the crap outta this stuff OP.

Glad everything went well, OP. I think the gowns have something to do with making you feel inferior and under their control. There is no such thing as modesty in a hospital.

Last time I was in, they were having a hard time stopping up the artery. Everey few minutes, someone was lifting my 'gown' to check. After a while I put on some socks. Next nurse asked if I was cold, I said: "No! but I needed some semblence of modesty!" We both had a good laugh over it.

Si...same thing happened to me. The incision in my leg kept bleeding, so there was a constant flow of nurses and doctors checking on things. This hospital is a teaching hospital, so there was a "group" with my main doctor that was along just to take a peek.
Every time they checked they would mash around on my leg near the incision and ask "Is it tender here....does that hurt?" Finally, I told them it felt fine until twenty of them started mashing around on it.

OP, next time let know when you want surgery. I took a course in simple surgery with power tools. Get plenty of rest, take lots of drugs. Talk later.

Okay, I'm taking orders for hospital gowns! Send me the specifics and I'll make them. They'll be any material you want and as long and wide as you want. Of all the medical advances, they sure don't figure it out with the gowns, as I've never heard of anyone that liked their gowns. When I go in for a mammogram, they have nice soft cotton pink wrap arounds, though. seriously, I'm glad you're okay OP. It's probably the lack of steroids and hormones and pesticides that didn't arrive in your bod from primary and secondary consumers.

Let's hope that's it for a while now...we don't need any more drama. Glad to hear your doc had a good report.
I'd be curious to know what he thinks about cranberry extract...everything I've ever read seems to indicate that it's pretty good at promoting good kidney/bladder health.
Some of the herbal remedies are pretty strong...The VA routinely recommends saw palmetto for enlarged prostate, and apparently it works. So who knows, maybe cranberry might work too.

harris....THERE IS NO CUTS.....think what other way there is to the bladder...... JEFF all those things work for kidney and prostate. as for these tumors poping up, the only thing i havent tried is a full raw food/juicing diet which changes the whole body from an acidic base to an alkiline base. people with really bad cancers have done this and have put the cancer in remission.

Dusty, Now that's what I'm talking about! Can you add some hidden pockets for OP to pin his dollar bills inside. And, there should be a couple escape hatches too! OP, what are you waiting for! You can buy the frozen Ocean Spray cranberries and keep them in the freezer, add them to the organic carrots and keep the juicer right on the kitchen counter. (Don't put it away, ever). ps. apples are wonderful to sweeten up the brew.

Hey OP, if they put longer strings on the hospital gowns, it would cost more money to buy them. This way your bill will be cheaper, HA HA. Glad to hear you are doing well. Keep up the good work! Don
