You know the wall brackets that hold the divider between the urinals so we can't peek, or pee on someone's leg? Would those work as sign brackets to hold a sign onto a brick wall? If not, why not? If so, where would you find them?
They seem to hold up very well in the men's room. it seems like they take a good bit of abuse.

Here's a company that I purhased extrusuions from a while back. Not sign related but for another business of mine. They were easy to deal with...but that's been 6 + years ago....LOL.

Aluma-Panel carries something very similar for post mounting double faced signs.

John, I'm familiar with the post hanging brackets, that's not it.
I'm talking about possibly attaching these to a brick wall and then hanging a sign straight out with no other support. The "arms" are probably 4" long.
Sam, These would need to hold up to wind and weather. I'd have to look over the catalog better. Thanks.

I don't know whether they would work or not...(hey if they stand up being peed on, they'll stand up to most anything)....but if that was what I wanted, I'd go talk to your local plumber. Or, I suppose you could Google "splash guard brackets"

Gene , Keep in mind the supports on a restroom devider are just that Supports. Without the column on the outer end of the wall they would not hold that wall alone.
I do not know how long your sign is extending out but this would make the difference on what type of bracket is needed.

Checkers - you have got to be one of the most effective internet researchers I've ever encountered...you seem to always come up with excellent recommendations.

Tony, Funny, I've thought the same about Checkers. He must have the uncanny ability to chose just the right words in a search, and then weed out the crap.
Thanks Checkers, that's them! I think I'm gonna buy a few, just to check them out... or I may just visit a few restrooms with my ratchet and screwdriver
P.S. Those are NOT sexual innuendos!

They work great! I have a customer that did his own install of a 4 x 8 3/4" MDO between treated posts. He was a school maintenance guy. That's exactly what he used! Sign has been there for 13 years now. I know you can get them thru McMaster - Carr Supply Co.
