Here's some good wishes for a fast recovery for both you & Scotty, Frank. Like someone said, take your cues from the dog. If he decides to rest, you should too. If he starts to licking himself.....well, don't go that far.

Wow.. that's bad news. Hope you heal up quickly and don't have any long-lasting effects, Frank. I'm very sorry to hear what happened and hope the careless driver cracked his head open on the back of your 'Burb.
Get well, soon.... and I'll be praying that your pain will be minimal and you make a quick recovery...

You have sent me so many nice messages on the IM Frank, I feel I know you a little bit. I want to hear more IM's from you in the future!! The native people of New Zealand have a saying in times like these "Kia Kaha". It means be strong. So Kia Kaha Frank, relax, sleep and let your body heal.

Take care of yourself and that puppy Frank. You're a "One of a kind" that we need more of around here and everywhere else. Let yourself rest and heal and them get back to doing your thing. Best wishes and prayers your way.

Frank I'm so sorry to hear this news. I'm at a loss for words other than to tell you we love you, miss you and wish you a speedy recovery. Don't let the doctors lie to you about your work days being over. I don't know the extent or nature of your injuries but I do know that the body has an incredible ability to heal itself if we just keep our attitude right and I know you will bro. Keep the faith!

My heart sank when I read the title of this post. You are a good man Frank, and it's been my pleasure to meet you on several occasions now. I wish you and Scotty the best and pray for a speedy recovery for the both of you.

I'm so sorry to hear this news Frank. If there's one good thing that can come out of this, it's that we should be reminded to cherish the good times. Things can change real fast. You and Scotty are #1 on the prayer list, pal - get well soon.
And Amy, thanks for staying in touch with us - is there somewhere we can send a card?

Oh boy, what a nite!!! Finally about 6am, he conceded and allowed doctor to administer a shot of something for his pain, been out cold since. A time we've taken to get some rest for ourselves. As I write, he's resting comfortablly, Scotty curled up beside him. Frank's problems will continue, Scotty seems tobe coming along, nothing broken, just stoved up real good.
Mr.Faulkner, thank you for address, which is correct. It's a relative small box we maintain for the race shop, cards and such will be fine, large packages will require special handling.
Scott and I are taken by these reponses, we always knew Frank was a popular guy, but had no idea of the extent of "his" world. We know that his efforts over the years in fellowshipping has taken him far and wide. Scott as a youngteenager remembers Uncle Frank taking him to the RatFink parties held at someones shop in Calif, something Scott's never forgot. We wish to convey our thanks to you for caring so much about our Frank, we know we have to share him, and that's ok, his friends seem like really nice people, thank you all.

Hi Amy, forgot to mention we've met! Briefly though. It was a couple years ago in March I drove up to Vegas to check out the Honda project Frank's been working on. Frank brought me out to the track Friday night while you guys were testing. It was a cold windy night, we all huddled in or around the trailer away from the wind when we could. I'm the guy with the camera in case you remember, I don't expect you to though because it was a brief visit. Scott might remember more since I was at the shop most of the day, he might even remember the primer gray minitruck I rolled into town with.
I only bring this up to show you, Frank's touched a lot of people from far away places, many you have possibly met (this group likes to travel!) and don't even realize you might know some of these faces.

One of the Lodi highlights for me was finally getting to meet Frank and his sidekick, Scottie. We're pulling for you. I'm glad you finally took some pain meds--it sure helps the body not to have the additional stress while healing.
