Hi,

I'm quoting a project where my customer wants to put a 9' x 5' 2 sided sign between poles of an existing lighted sign pole. We would have to frame it out. My question is would alumacorr hold up or is poly-metal a better choice. Or would something like Nu_alum in 2 pieces be better. We do have winds here and that is my concern.

Thanks in advance.

Teri,

I would be asking for the specifications on the lighting poles first and foremost. Most lighting standards were only designed to withstand the load from the lighting fixture mounted on it not an addition load that this sign would create.

Bruce,

Good question, but there is a sign there that will be removed and I think that will balance out the extra load issue.
