My Gramma really got steamed when she saw "X-mas" written.... Some abbreviations are unacceptable... -------------------- Michael Boone Sign Painter 5828 Buerman Rd.Sodus,NY 14551

I don't like it either. However, someone told me it is not taking the Christ out of Christmas, rather the X symbolizes the Cross at Calvary and is not ment as a show of disrespect. So I don't get so upset now when I see it...but I still prefer Merry Christmas and I wish y'all one of those. Shall we start saying Happy Birthday on the day that wasn't... Please tell me that this is not a commercial. Is it really true that we are better then the trees in the forest or the sand grains of the beach. Most of it started from something.
