Salutations!

I am getting ready to update my laptop PC. Since I have very limited computer savvy, (as a matter of fact, I don't think I've ever before typed the word "savvy" on a keyboard...sure hope I spelled it right), I'd love your input on this.

I've been using WindowsXP, CorelDRAW 11, a SummaCut plotter W/Co-Cut Pro software (if any of that matters).

Yes, I prefer a laptop to a desktop...cause I like to carry it around sometimes and do the Starbucks thing when I get cabin fever.

The things that I care about are, of course,

Graphics
Fonts
Wireless Communication
and
Speed...YES!!!

Oh, Yea, and I don't want to spend more than about $1,200.00

What would you buy?

Thanks,

Jennifer [Thanks]

We just bought a 17" widescreen HP refurb from Fry's Electronics for $769 with AMD Athlon Duo Centrino (don't get Celeron) Works great with our existing wireless router.
We like the big screen, but it doesn't travel much except to watch a movie on the deck.

You can also check Dell's Outlet Store and search based on various criteria. I got a nice deal on a powerful laptop that way.
