I am trying to install Eye candy 4000 into corel x3, when I install eye candy it shows available programs to install to and corel x3 does not come up in the list.
There is a way to manually select a program so I went to the corel x3 plugin folder and installed it there, but it will not show up in corel at all.
Is this still compatible and if so how does others install it so it is usable,
Thanks for any help in advance.

Bob, I thought EyeCandy is for Adobe PhotoShop or Corel Photo Paint...not Illustrator or X3
Forgive me if I'm wrong.
When we add effects to our CorelX3 graphics, we have to put them into Adobe PhotoShop then add the effecs, put them back in CorelX3 to add the contour cuts then save as an .eps for Versaworks to print/cut.

You may be right Dave, although Corel has bitmap tools and once you turn something to a bitmap you should be able to use filters like eye candy.

Works fine Bob, as you install it manually select C:\Program Files\Corel\CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 13\Plugins as the path for the plugin. You will need to restart Coreldraw.
Dave you can apply effects to bitmaps within CorelDraw, It' does work better, however, to 'edit bitmaps' then apply the effects in photopaint, then close photopaint, you'll be prompted whether to apply changes to bitmap in coreldraw, no cut and paste or save-open required.

"Edit Bitmap" so Paint opens and apply effects. Then close to apply the effects in Paint.
Works great. I've never been able to get Eye Candy to work correctly within Draw. So I've always done it via the Edit Bitmap method.
