I have been getting busy on getting my new office open, and I got my friday 13 present early.

My office is going to be my upstairs of a 2 bay car garage (it's been storage since 2002), so My contractor got the deck done, and the new door cut and installed, and everything is looking good.

I have low ceilings in the room (about 7'),and the way it was built, he suggested to cut the joists out, and raise them 2 foot. It will give me nice head room, and look nice with the vaulted ceiling, so I told him to give me a price.

Then he starts moving some boxes around, and said that it was pretty damp in the corner. Turns out I am missing some shingles, and the plywood under is now rotten. So, I gotta get a roof put on. [Mad] S@n @f a @%#^#. [Mad] .

So now I gotta get quotes for this. The good thing is my town has been setting up an Economic Development Commision to give low interest loans to local businesses boost the economy, so I get to go talk to them to see if I can get help, since I didn't budget for either the roofing or ceiling work.

And to top it all off, last week, I bit into a Tootsie Roll and broke a tooth, so I am off to the dentist this morning.

I hope everybody else's day goes better than mine.

Hiya Mark,
Look at the bright side, it could be worse! At least you discovered the issue now, before you moved all your media equipment in and discovered that the roof leaked all over it [Embarrassed]
Good luck with the tooth!

Seems really weird to break your tooth on a Tootsie Roll. (One of my fav's) I just hope you were able to save you tooth. Poor baby!
