I'm not one to post a lot, I'll do the odd reply, sometimes show some stuff on the portfolio side mostly because I'm not a big computer user. But sometimes an important notice needs to be voiced...
I've been kind of busy too lately, part of it is getting ready for an important day. Some of you have met Heather at the Maritimes meet a few years back or the Toronto show where you'll always find me !
Well Heather and I are getting it done this coming Saturday the 14th after 6 years together, her 2 kids and my 3, all from previous "lives" still makes a household... 7 at the dinner table sure fills the dishwasher.
Work is steady, money's OK, kids are happy... why not !!! So there we go, I'll be posting a few pics next week, hope everyone has a good time for me at the Dixie meet...

Congratulations Heather and Rene! It was obvious in the Maritimes you guys are meant for each other. I'm looking forward to the pics. Have a great day and a wonderful "rest of your lives". We had 8 in our family, never tried putting any of them in the dishwasher though.

Here's a funny one : Heather thought it would be a good idea to get me a present (as if getting married to her wasn't one...), she organized a special delivery of a copy of my favorite sign from Grampa Dan Sawatzky "The Ideamatic"...
I fell in love with the idea, concept and originality of this little sign the first time I saw it in a magazine and thought it would be a nice thing to display. Last summer, I saw this sign in my buddy's shop, Pierre Tardif and said "you lucky lill'devil you" and Heather saw the look on my face... and she knew!
She then arranged with Pierre to get Grampa Dan's e-mail and contacted Dan to see if it was possible to get a replica made up... guess what, I got it this morning and it's already on my wall.
Thanks to Dan, thanks to Pierre and thanks to you Heather... I know I'll say "YES" now !!!
I'll ask Pierre to post a picture of his, because my camera quit on me last week...

I was delighted to get an email from Heather asking me to do this little project for Rene.
She had been scheming for months on how to pull it off as a surprise for him. I believe the hardest part was for her to keep it under wraps as their special day approached.
Thank you for the great honor of being asked to create such a special gift.
All the best in your future together!
