I got this e-mail from a customer yesterday. It is a stage backdrop for a band. They want their logo printed on it.
"We are looking to purchase a 20x20 black banner with the atttached insignia to be used as a backdrop on stage. I'm not sure what the fabric is (nylon?). If your printing company handles this type of project, could you please send me prices for a 20x20', 20x10', and a 10x10' banner?"
Any leads to a source of this type of large scale printing and material supplier would be greatly appreciated.

Caution, most of that stuff has to be done on fire proof materials. You need to know that as the materials are expensive or if someone is making it for you that they have the proper stuff. If it is the wrong fabric and they take it to a fire regulated place they will not be able to hang it. That probably will create a conflict

Hiya Dana, Printing is probably out of the question. Vinyl is cheap, but won't look good on stage, and dye-sub will probably run you about $7-$10 sq. ft. I'd suggest an appliqué if the design is relatively simple and check out swirlingsilks.com.
