Hey, did ya see Mr. Gary Jensen on Trick My Truck show last nite. He did some 23K leaf work on a Red Freightliner. The theme was to look kinda like a fire truck. He did kind of a tribal scrolls with two 1/2 inch stripes compleletly around the truck. He also did some lettering, not only on the doors, but inside the cab as well. I wish they would have had Gary talk a bit. I know if I was there, I'd be talking.

I really hate those shows now. Biker Build off and the whole lot. We the painters help make the projects what they are and when the first shows came out they gave the painters some attention. Now you are lucky if they mention your name. Ask me how I know "100 thousand dollar bike build off seen on Speed Channel". Man if I could just get my time back. O/Well!

I would have liked to have seen that show. Gary is one heck of a nice guy and really talented!
I'm afraid I'm like Ryan ( Jeez, did I just say that? ) and I don't like watching those shows any more. All those idiotic deadlines and the general mechanical ineptness that's rampant on both the bike shows and the car deals. I've seen more welds break, bikes break down and distributors installed wrong than I really want to see Crap, I watched one a few weeks ago and one bike, brand new engine now, was smoking like a locomotive out one pipe. From what I've seen, the only one that can build a reliable bike is the guy out of Carolina.............and he never wins
The worst thing though, besides giving the painters little or no credit, is how they make everything appear like it takes no time at all. I really feel for the custom painters. Customers expect stuff to be done overnight.

When the show is about "YOU"....... You get to be the star....till then yer just the hired help
I see too many whine about not gettin what they see as their name in lights...........
The only guy I've seen that put together a real, dependable, start on the first couple kicks bike..........that got run hard right out of the box, & is still running hard.......The guys DEAD...!!
Did I mention...Those shows SUCK !! : But No point in hatin' em. I just ignore em unless it's someone i Give a damn about...then I watch for about 10 minutes, or till I puke......whichever comes first..
AND YES.......Gary is a GREAT craftsman. AND person..
How the hell ya doin Big "G" ??

Ya know I love them shows. Pimp My Ride, Trick My Truck, etc. But you have to remember, it fricken TV. It's not real life. They have a script to read from. The shows have writers. They re-shoot when you don't say your lines the right way. I wouldn't even be surprized if they have a waredrobe/make-up person running around.

No habla espanol or reality tv either, what a meatgrinder!!! Only thing they (reality tv shows) accomplish is to purport a false aura and elevate those there way before their due time...I'm w/CJ here, five minutes or puke, whichever comes first...even the new one (it's in the can, it's coming) that I'm privvy to is same ol, same ol...only thing this time, they used "real" professionals (industry icons), unlike previous shows...just goes to show you, even if you're the "cats meow", reality is, reality shows aren't and they will eat you up and spit you out as fast as the not so professionals we've become accustomed to seeing...and did I fail to mention the payment plan? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
