Hi Folks,

I've got to bid on a job for an office complex that includes exterior and interior directories. The customer wants to be able to slide one tenant's name out and another one in EASILY.

I want something that is gonna look classy, the building is "Williamsburg esque". Outdoor signs will be post and panel, indoors will be panels mounted to walls.

Tracks that accomidate 1" copy should be fine.

Thanks to all responses!

Eric

Hiya Eric,

For interior work, I would look into www.takeform.net They have nice, modular interior sign system with a lot of finishes available.
For the exterior signs, I would look into www.Howardindustries.com wordbar or www.cisigns.com changeable word bar.

Havin' fun,

Thanks for the info Brian.

I'd like to find a "slat system" that I could use, with me building the signs.

Pronto track is going to be too bulky looking using small slats.

Maybe drill holes in the slats and hang them on pegs- i'm open to suggestions.

If I can figure out how to post a pic, I'll show you what i've got to replace.

Eric

You could make your own custom track out of wood with a router. Or acrylic by stacking and gluing strips.

Hiya Eric,
Dusty's suggestions work too. The nice part of doing something custom like that is it can be as unique as you want it to be and it pretty much locks the client into coming to you for replacement panels [Smile]
Another "off the shelf" modular system is http://www.clarkesystems.com/ or you can try http://apcocomponents.com/
