Found this today and thought some of you might own one.
I guess that Sony makes the battery. They are also used in Apple and HP products

[Smile] Turns out my new (june) laptop isn't affected by recall. Good thing I took the battery upgrade.

You can save yourself a lot of time if you check if your battery is on the recall list. Needless to say with 4.1 million recalled and another 2.6 million laptops not affected Dell support has been busy.
