Thank you all so much. Yes - it is my "Bidet" as Ricky put it. I'm up to 47 rings on the tree if you cut me in half (and no doubt some would love to do that).
Age is only a state of mind - and many of my Letterhead friends have expressed that very sentiment to me yesterday and today. (I love you too Billy!) I guess it is safe to assume that for as strongly as I feel about you and all of them and our friendships - the feeling must be at least close to mutual.
We are a brotherhood, we Letterheads - and even more than today is my birthday, all it really is is Thursday - another day in another week of another year. My promise to myself is to be the best person I can be - compassionate, caring and devoted to my family, my friends and my profession.
If you want to give me something (other than a kick in the head) for my birthday, then grab your kids, your wife, your husband, your Mom, your Dad, your closest friends or anyone else in your family and give them a big hug and tell them you love them, you respect them and that your life wouldn't be as full without them. That's how I feel - and probably how everyone who gets birthday greetings posted here - feels also.
I'm humbled to be thought of on just another day.
Peace.
(Thanks for the hot dog, Tracie!! - Good one!!)

Today is still good for you belated well-wishers. Too much to do yesterday to celebrate at all. Mom had knee replacement surgery last Monday so I've been spending plenty of time helping her out and a birthday at my age just didn't fit in well on a Thursday. So, tonight's the night!!
I'll behave. I promise.

I haven't been around much lately, but I happened to get on here and saw this post and it raised a "big ol' hairy eyebrow" and missing an opportunity to wish you a happy birthday is "one eye" wouldn't want to miss. So, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! enjoy!

Happy Birthday Jay, just think of all the good years you will have to catch up to me. What a pleasure to be among your long list of friends, but even better to be friends to both you and Jody. Still waiting for the picture. Bill (Hand painter)

Bill Riedel - if I make it to your age then you can bet I'll be as busy and as active as you are - God willing. You're my inspiration for the vibrant life that can be lived even in your seventies - and no doubt, beyond. You work and enjoy life like a man half your age - and that is just so cool to see. Jody and I feel so lucky to have crossed paths with you - and value your firendship greatly. I'll get that photo of her to you soon. We're just so doggone busy right now.
Bill, Jack, Cisco, Dave, Chris, Bill and Jane, Steve, Mark, Don, Janette, Judy, Dale, Rose, Kiersten, Deri, Deb, Tracie, Jill, Kelsey, Cat, Sonny, Duncan, Billy, Dan and Ricky - thank you.
I had a wonderful weekend spent with family and friends. Thanks again for taking time to send along birthday wishes. You can't much I appreciated the sentiments.
And to my big brother Ray - and my big sister, Renata - I love you guys. Thanks for being my friends and thanks for inspiring me to greater things. It is a comfort to know you will always be there for me - if I ever need you. I'll call this week - I promise.
