I've REALLY been counting on attending this meet ever since it was announced and am sorry that I'm not going to be able to make it. It's only about a 20 hour drive from the shop but currently my daughter Rocky & I are the only two employees left here keeping 3 locations going in addition to trying to clean up the mess we inherited. The Mazeppa meet in 2005 was the last meet I've been able to make and that was also the last time I've been able to take a day off. So, tell everyone I said "howdy" and I'll be looking forward to seeing the pix.
p.s. Jimmy, I'm sorry that you're not going to make it either. Keep your chin up & I hope to see you at the next one!

We're with the Aussie Letterheads painting up a small town called Burrawang. Mazeppa is a City compared to this town. There's a Butcher in town that sells newspapers. That's what they call their Variety Store. Wonderful people!
I've been telling everyone about all of you gathered at Sonnys. Everyone is amazed that there is another Letterhead Meet going on at the Top Of The World. Wish we could be 2 places at once!
Hoping you have lots of new people at your meet. Take time to get to know them and make them feel comfy. I sure had feelings of insecurity at my first meet. Still do!
Get lots of photos. We're way behind on our Meet coverage so bear with us. Hundreds of NZ and Aussie pics to sort and process.
Long Live Letterheads. Party on!

I am here in Georgia having a blast. I feel like I'm back at home again. The hosts are accomosating, the guests are friendly, and the weather is perfect. The food is perfect, the music is homemade, and the atmosphere is one of sharing.
Caring is sharing and every thing is shared here. Wish you all were here. The hosts should be proud to see this professional croud having such a blast.
I'm not sure who will be more exhausted. The guests or the hosts.
Thank you for a great weekend.

Rick and others.... am writing from thje meet on Doug's laptop. I want to tell you how awesome this meet has been. There are panels on top of panels...mucho striping and I'd say at least 40 sandblasted panels have been done. Bob from Wizard signs where the meet is has had a man blasting steadily for 2 days now. Everyone is painting up a storm and there is lots of good food and music. We just ate some great smoked barbeque, and a blues band is setting up as I I speak. Just really alot of fun...wish you all were here.

We are having a BLAST! This is one of our first visits South and we survived and have not gotten eaten by Kudzu! Its been great, greeting old friends and meeting new. It's funny how some of the people I have met for the first time, I already feel like I knew, because of here! But now I know what the SOUND like. (You know, these people down here talk funny!) Last night the Letterheads were jamming in grand style with about 8 people on stage at one point. Cisco is standing right behind me and says, "Orale, ya'll!"

HI Nancy here, Jane has been kind enough to let me post on her account ('cause I can't think of my password). This has been an incredible meeting...sooooooo many people working on projects and teaching, learning, singing, sharing. Kudos to the organizers and helpers for doing such an amazing job. Nancy

Hey RXRX!!!! You won't believe how awesome THIS MEET IS!!
And Hawaii (my new nic for Doug Allan) has been so very gracious as to allow me his laptop for a few minutes to tell you all about it . . . and since I absolutely can not go into detail (because there's TOO much to tell) Alls, I can tell you is there are (as usual) so many incredibley talented and wonderful people at this meet, and so much extraordnary work happening here . . . it's a real assault on the imagination to be witness to the things being done. You will be droolin' over the pics!
We miss you Rick an' all of ya who could'nt make it!

Hi, Ya'll! (Hi Jimmy! Miss ya!) Amazing meet. (My second.) I just finished checking out the Aussie pics. I can't believe there are clowns 'down under' at the same time. See? We're clowns the World Around.
My Kudos to Sonny and B-Bob, and all their crew and volunteers that made this meet the greatest three ring circus of all time. And for Carter Barnes of AlumaPanel and all the other very generous Sponsors, WE THANK YOU.

Well my first meet was a blast. I have to say that meeting so many of you was a great treat. You're even better in person. It was great to get to talk to everyone. So great that I didn't really do any projects.
I went to sleep last night with visions of pinstripes in my head. I sketched off a couple. I can't tell you how much inspiration I soaked up.
Thanks Sonny and Bob! And everyone else who made this happen by way of food, supplies, help in the shop, spousal support and all the behind the scenes stuff that's not apparent.
I really enjoyed it and am looking forward to another.

Sonny jinxed me by reminding how bad flying stand-by is. I practically missed 2 of the three days. I didn't get to meet everyone I would have liked to because I was trying to fling as much paint and socialize in one day. I do think I remember seeing you though So I know at least what you look like in person. Next time us newbies can stripe some together.
