Hey guess what, kids! Terry Colley just sent me the Roses and Castles book! Maybe we can paint some narrow boat roses, since Dana won't be there to paint her flowers. I learned a little bit about painting them at the Tickle. Maybe we can teach Ryan to paint them on helmets.
...sorry for posting so much on this topic, but I am just so darn excited! Especially now with this book. Thanks Terry! love....Jill

Hey Guys & Gals. I hate to say I will not be able to make it this weekend. It is going to be such a great time of fellowship and learning, and I really hate to miss it. Next year will be my year I hope. All of you have a great time and take plenty of pictures to share with all of us that couldn't make it. As cold as it is going to be in VA, I wish I was going to GA. Hope all of you drive safely. God Bless you.

Well it's 9am and in about 1 hour I will be heading to the circus. Just have to change some money into American and then off I go. My usual travel guy Dan can't make it to this one so I will be driving the 1000 mile to Ga alone. Oh well I have a bunch of great toons and a mattress in the back of the Toyota Previa and a case of coca cola so I have everything I need for a great trip. Someone find me a parking spot beside the shop where I can park(live) and I will keep you beer cold. Sandy

We're heading out the door. This is more than a letterhead trip for us, it's also a vacation. Going to stay at letterheads Steve and Gloria Estes' bed and breakfast tonight and amble south from there. If the economy down south needs extra cash, we plan to do what we can to help out.
I'm looking forward to great peanuts, great peaches, Waffle Houses, southern drawls and southern hospitality. The weather around here is going to be cold and maybe nasty, so I hope to navigate away from it. Most importantly I'm looking forward to seeing old friends we've made and I'm looking forward to meeting new ones.
I originally thought this was going to be a small meet, but I guess it's going to be a larger one -- for whatever reason. That Sonny must be one popular dude. Each one of these meets takes on a life of its own, and it is especially nice to go far away to one, so that customers can't track you down with their petty demands. I'm so burned out right now, I could explode.
Jane, get your butt in the car and let's let the fun begin. WWWWWWWWWWHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL, you guys crack me up. Bill, the peanuts are just coming in now; you have GOT to try "Georgia caviar", boiled peanuts. You can wash it down with a Coke or Georgia champagne (sweet iced tea). The peaches are long gone now but there is plenty of southern hospitality to go round. One thing that most people don't know about Kudzu is when it blooms it smells just like grape soda. Yes Bobbie you will see some; just don't park close to it or it will cover your car while you watch, LOL. You think I'm kidding!

Jill, Atlanta's not too bad... you generally just move along the 5 lanes with the traffic (about 85 mph) and watch for the stopped cars ahead of you... (out of towners piled up)

This thing has gotten out of control since I last posted. Something is screwed up with my Letterville at work, so I haven't been able to see all of these developments. Ryan definitely looks better in a wig. There is a photo from Mazeppa somewhere proving that. I prefer pinstripes to fake hair on my head. I don't sleep with Ryan on these trips, just ask Joe Buck why not. He tried it once, and he hasn't been the same since.
I can't wait. I will be heading down there tomorrow after lunch. See Ya'll soon
