Yeah, I'll hand my fee in to Sonny in cash when I get there with the equipment trailer...everybody thinks the PA setup will be for jammin' but I'm bringing it so I can make Bill Diaz do his stand-up routine.
"A guy walks into a bar..."
The kudzu print shirt will be the icing on the cake!

Flute??? Do you know any Jethro Tull? 4 more sleeps and I'm on the way. Man I can't wait.
I still don't know what all to expect Monday when I go into the shop. I hired the former purchasing agent for Frito Lay (15 yrs) as my manager and he's doing an incredible job. If things are as good as I expect, I might even have time to pull off a project! Now I gotta go change my geetar strangs.

Looks like the making of a train of circus wagons is forming. Sal has graciuosly offered us a stop on the way down in New Freedom (Thanks a ton, Sal!) and we'll all be heading out Thursday morning from PA.
Jethro Tull? COOL! I can play drums to that. Now where'd I leave that Bouree'...?

*snickers TOO hard* Woman Energy?!?! "..a whole city block???..." OKAY..."let in the Clowns!"
I can't wait to meet the infamous Bobbie Rochow, whom Shiela loves so much...and to see JillBeans, again. (*sigh* even tho' she doesn't have purple or pink hair).
It's exciting to be a woman in the sign-making world. Well, okay, it's 'challenging',if not 'exciting'.
OKAY, it sucks at times, truth be said. *LOL*
I'm here. I'm trying. There's MANY other Women that do the same thing, day after day. I respect them and, at this upcoming meet? I hope to learn from them, and share more concepts.
If we can arrange a 'female jama' party, Sat. night in Sheila's room at 8PM, that'd be great...a reunion/relationship of sign gals. It'd be kewl.
OK. I'm just wishing things. I'd LOVE to talk to JUST FEMALES, one time, about 'females in the biz'...to see if what I've found and learned is what other females have experienced...
I'll see ya'll around.
What will be will be.

Karen, at 8pm on Saturday night, we want to see your female energy on the DANCE FLOOR. Start your girlie girl stuff AFTER the band's finished. But be careful: Ryan Young and Donald Thompson have been known to wear wigs and impersonate signbabes......

That's too funny. I'd be afraid of impersonators if I were you, Karen! No matter what falls into place, this is looking like one of the best meets ever. The Saturday evening jig is gonna really be happening! Somehow, a jam session never did materialize when we were in Lodi. My kids lugged their guitars 2500 miles for much of nuthin'. But now we just hafta take e' a few miles down the road. We're ready for this bash to begin!

14 hours & 4 airports later I arrived at my moms house for 4-1/2 days of recovering from all the work, stress, & lack of sleep required to extricate myself from business responsibilities.
I couldn't talk myself out of hassling along my large extra trunk to make sure there is at least one drum suitable for the unplugged sets that may ensue.
Sonny, do you have a coffee grinder? I brought almost enough Kona coffee to keep 100 people up for 3 days.
I am looking forward to meeting so many letterville aquaintenances next weekend!

The hair is jet-black now, in case inquiring minds want to know. But I can bring along both a blonde & a brunette wig just for fun. I wonder who would make a better "June", Ryan or Donald? I think I have a pink wig too, somewhere. This is gonna be a neat meet...haven't seen some of these heads since my first Mazeppa or my last Dixie! And I can help with the portraiture on your mural, Sonny, if you need me. Looks like my old panel record of 15 will stand tho. Hey I have LOTS of long skinny ivory Alumalite cut-offs, 6"x96"....they would make good pinstriping panels if you want me to bring some. love....Jill

Karen...I am "Infamous"? Lol!!! I can hardly wait to meet you!
And I just told Jill, I've got some 1" long roots growing out of my head, so I better color before I go!!! When I first color it is more red than blonde, so I might not match my pic.
And Doug!!!! I am SO glad I get to meet you! It will be a pleasure! And you are bringing coffee too? YUM!!!!
Don't know about dancing, Sonny, I am a bit shy!

KONA - for coffee lovers like me, that's the holy grail. SignDog will sniff out a grinder, no problem, Doug.
Cisco will be autographing his Lodi video LIVE and IN PERSON, ladies and gentlemen. Bring your Sharpies. And the Oscar goes to......... Francisco Vargas.
Bobbie, thanks for reminding me: I need to re-gray my beard.

Can't we just meet at the meet? Besides, I don't want to miss my husband's stand up routine or John Byrd on guitar or dancing with John Lennig on Saturday night!

LOL, NO WAY Mark; drunk friends are WAY too much fun to stop!
Jilly, bring the chipped ham on down; we can use it for catfish bait.
Karen, for the record, NO, you can't have the girls at 8 on Saturday night; that's at least 4 hours too early. We don't want Ryan and Donald slow dancing together, LOL.
Doug, I'm so pumped about the meet it feels like I'm already on my fourth cup 'o java.
Got the strings changed on my guitars. I'm bringing my "Altonized" Jackson/Charvel model 6 and my 67 Gibson Trini Lopez (bought new & highly collectable!). Worked yesterday on my project for Donald; it'll be finished tonight.

I volunteer a grinder... or a Vitamix if we need to grind a lot at once. (Or maybe make Margaritas?) Whatever we need in the way of kitchen gadgets, I prob'ly have... I've I didn't paint for a living, I'd prob'ly cook for a living. I'd love to be a part of a round the table discussion- either female or in mixed company. Maybe everyone bring their jammys to the meet on Saturday nite & we can ALL pretend we're havin' a slumber party! (Just kidding! Don't know that I wanna see what some of you might wear to bed!LOL!)

Wow... it's coming! FINALLY.. I can't believe it!
Got a Local Live map done up here showing the layout of the hotels and the route to the Circus.
Zoom in close then click on the Bird's Eye and Aerial views to check out the lay of the land... noticed a Cracker Barrel and Waffle House in close proximity...
You can also click on the location, then More Info for the links to the hotels.
