Harry Oresko passed away Thursday,July 20,2006 from Lou Gehrigs Disease.Harry was featured in Sign Craft Magazine,Jan/Feb 2006 issue. He was a regular at the Conclaves and last attended the 2005 Memorial Conlave before his health failed. I was amazed that he had completed all of his Conclave projects and had them framed. I've known Harry for 30 years and we enjoyed our friendship, talking about family, creativity and music. Harry was an accomplished guitar player and always had music and his guitar at his shop. Debbie, his wife, was at his side and caring for him up until his death. She called me Friday morning. He will be missed. Debbie can be contacted at: Hollydale Mobile Home Park, 5700 Carbon Canyon Rd. #114, Carbon Canyon, California 92823

Harry was a wonderful person and talented artist. He will be missed, and Pat, thanks for sharing this. Some moments this message seems tragic and at others a blessing.

Ah...another too bad. I'd heard he wasn't well and it will be hard to imagine him not being at a Conclave just quietly doing his thing. The world just seems to get smaller these days. Warm wishes to his family.

Harry was a great guy & an exemplary Letterhead. I talked with him by phone not too long ago... He was into the craft & as Pat said, & finished all his Conclave pieces from the various years, which is more than I can say, He will be missed.

Great man, Harry. He never pretended that he understood something when he wasn't sure. He asked the best questions and really made you think. It was an honor to know him.
