Yep silicone oughta do it... or at least I really hope it does cause that's the only thing keeping the glass from falling off of a lot of skyscrapers out there! [Smile]

Drop by your local windshield repair shop & ask for urethane primer & urethane.Another product that is available is mirror bracket glue.This is used to hold the button on your windshield for the rear view mirror.Use gloves.

Since they make aquariums with silicone, I believe it will hold whatever you want to do with it.
