Man, that guy is amazing; that's exactly the way I would have done it!! wink wink. Maybe, one of these days, if I live right and say my prayers, I might get to clean one of his airbrushes. I think Mike is WAY more than a technician; way more than an illustrator; he is a true artist. But he's much more than an artist too; he pushes the envelope of what can be done. Like Rainman Chapman, he's a giant of a man.

What can you say that hasn't already been said...the guy is simply amazing. I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to meet the man and to watch him work. The stuff that comes right out of his head onto whatever "canvas" he is working on is just unbelieveable!!!!!!! The fact that he is such a down to earth person on top of it all makes it even more enjoyable

What drives me crazy is the stupid real fire. The general public went crazy for it and now every want-a-be pumps it out like it is the holy grail of airbrush. Mike still does it best and everybody knows him for it but he is so much more than Real Fire! Before the real fire I knew Mike was one of the baddest brushes in the world. That Fridge is one bad peice. Looks like I need to redo mine now.

I was at a bike rally doing some striping this past weekend and had a guy show me his bike that mike had painted on...a "rock" flame design...it was way cool. So of course I took a picture of the "Lavallee" bike! He's my hero!

Mike has set a standard for everyone to try to match. Although he is short like me, he is a giant when it comes to talent and creativity.
