Hi gang,
I'm in the process of spec'ing some development signage for a local management company. They want a quote on (50) 18 x 24 signs touting their name, and they will all be exactly alike for each of their communities. I figured the easiest way to do this would be to have them cast from a master that I will provide. I know nothing about casting resin. Anyone want to take a stab at it?
Thanks!

Rick

This sounds like a nice job. Ive done some casting and may be interested in some more info Rick. Are you looking for a finished multicolor piece? Resin casting will be a single color and will have to be painted or can be layer applied cast in different color resins. This all depends on the original.

I can probe/laser scan your original and copy mill them with cnc too as an option.

I'm over here in Ohio and still close enough to PA to be a Steelers fan.

Sounds like a plan, Bill. I still have to actually design the thing. I should have something by the end of the week. I can do all the painting here, so it would be a strictly casting job. I've got a guy close by with a 'Bot that does alot of my carving, but I thought this would be a more economical solution, as I could keep a few in stock if the landscaping crew breaks one. I'll keep you posted.
Thanks!
