Good first pictures by the paper! Too bad there isn't a link to your half hour radio spot that you, John and Adam were at. I'm sure that would have been a hoot to listen to. See ya in 20 hours.

I just pullled into the dorms to crash after another LONG day and night of mural work and other good times......
My wall is nearly complete. I have received a ton of help from some very talented folks. As soon as I get a chance and a few winks of rest I'll post some pics.
Great times here is Jacksonville...lots of heat, great tunes, little sleep, banana popsicles, and a big wall to sling paint at.....awesome!

Thanks goes out to all my brothers and sisters from other mothers. The meet is about you guys, the art, the comradie and just being able to say "i was there". You guys kicked some seriuos butt.

Bernie My reputation as a drinker ended 20 years ago, don't you be getting my wife worried. Them were Busch NA i was downing (except for the last one!) which doesn't explain my behaviour after them. I guess I was high on the whole meet.
A Walldog meet is so different from a letterheads meet as you meet and connect with the public and they connect with the letterheads concepts of keeping the craft alive.
When I get settled I think I'll try and get my thoughts written down about the meet. but I flew in at 12 noon yesterday and was working at 2pm so I'm going full steam already.

I would definitely recommend a wall dog meet to folks. Even if, like me you don't have pictorial skills, there is always work needed to be done by those who can letter.
It was great to meet everyone there and to put accents to the faces of the Bullboard.

Jacksonville, Illinois has to have more one way streets than Peoria. I thought I was pretty savvy when it came to one way streets, Noo-oo-oo! I'm yet again, just a rank amateur. Bernie Gietel can tell you, I can't drive worth a darn. Oh well, at least the Wall Dog Extravaganza was exceptional. Thanks to the great folks in Jacksonville for all their effort --even if they do have way too many one way streets. Adam and Sarah May, Mike Meyer, and all the support people really came together and pulled off another excellent event.
I met a lot of new folks last week, and as usual didn't have nearly enough time to visit with anyone. There was so much to do, so many to visit with, all in such a short span time. The walls all turned out fantastic; it was great to be involved.

If it's a wall dog meet in the Great State of Illinois, it's a pretty good bet that "PARR of PEORIA" will be there to help! And help he does! Great to see you again Dave, and I hope to see you at many more! Great pictures!

Thanks to Adam and Sarah, Steve Varble, and all those who helped organize this event, it was one I'll remember for a long time.
Thanks to the Ladies who delivered the Banana popsicles, Skittles, and bottles of water...they sure made the day go a lot smoother. And to the sponsors of the event.
I had a lot of fun and the support and participation from the community was greater than any other meet I have attended...it just gets better each time!
