OK, hope this wasn't said before , but tonight I needed to make a sample cutout letter, 15.75inches tall. I had the plotter cut an O out of scrap vinyl, applied it to a scrap of Diebond, then cut it out with a jig saw. After, I peeled the calendered vinyl off, scruff sanded, tack wiped, & spray painted it brown.

It's great for doing custom shapes on dibond. Put the vinyl down on top of the protective covering that comes on the dibond, cut it out & then peel.

We use a lot of those small Sur Line 3" rollers. We run the roller over the sticky side of small pieces of scrap to remove all the loose fuzz from the roller.

You might consider giving your scrap vinyl to your local schools Art Department. I have done this for years and it is most appreciated. You should see some of the creative ways these gifted Art Teachers have used my "scrap" in producing art work. Twice a year I clean out my scrap box and make delivery. Matter of fact, I'm due now.

I also use scrap to label these bins. I think I have around 70 of these bins at this point. Router, Drill, Outdoor Sign Install, Van 1, Van 2, Reciprocating Saw, etc.
Basically a bin for each type of tool, but without the labels, man what a headache.

HARVIE- Yo are right on. The local Schools can use old scraps anytime. I see students use stuff in ways we would never imagine.
