Earlier this week I finally got brave enough to put a pin striped florish on the hood of my car. Today I took an older friend from church out for her 83rd birthday, and as we were leaving the restaurant, I showed of the pinstriping (I'm like that). I off-handedly asked if she'd like her car done... and she said yes! (too cool)
So I went home, got my paints etc. and went to her home (senior housing). She came out to watch & brought one of her neighbors with her. So I wound up not only doing my friend's car, but HER friend thought it would be a great idea to do hers as well...!!!!
So now, we're waiting to hear back on comments from their respective sons (my age)"Mom...???" They think it a riot- they're beyond worrying about what others MIGHT think! Hurrah for wild old ladies! Cat

Good for you Cat!! Far too many people worry about what 'others' might think of things they do instead of 'just doing it' as you do.
I look forward to working with you in a few weeks! I'll show you how painting a wiggly line is much more fun than a straight one - no matter what others might say... and we'll get to heckle Jay too!

This post wasn't about ME, but that the ladies thought this a good idea to have done for their cars!

Maybe you could start a trend. At the very least, you could get some PR for your business if you could "pitch the story" in a way that would get the local papers to run it. There's probably enough to the story already, with the right angle...but you could also do something more "newsworthy"...like a fundraising event for the local seniors centre, or something. Maybe you could get a bunch of other pinstripers to lend a hand. Just "jamming" with you.
BTW, that stripe is cool and pretty at the same time.
