I have an urgent request for a size legibility chart from a major client. The senator from NY is appearing at a local university and the president of that school wants to make sure the name of the university can be read at various venues.
Does anyone have one they can send me?
I've seen traffic studies from the USSC, but I'm looking more for the chart that says 2" letter = 50 feet, etc.

I wish it were so easy that naming a height was all that it took to insure visibility.
There are so many times that I spot a letterstyle on a sign or truck that has been so horribly condensed it looks like a stripe, yet it's the "right" height.
Raymond's got it... ...contrast and character weight add visibility. Modifying it to fit base on height only can kill the visibility. Rapid

time for another brush script & helvetica challenge again, maybe- see how distorted you can go and still retain aesthetic appearance!
