Last night we had some bad storms come through the Mid-South area. All of them missed us but just to the North they got it bad. The death toll stands at 23 and counting. NE Arkansas, the Missouri Bootheel were hit and the rural areas around Dyersburg, Tn. getting the worst of it. I have to hand it to the local news, their weathermen were on top of it all night.

Scary stuff George... I have family in Warren County, OH and I read in the AP reports that there was damage there. I checked and they're all okay.
We haven't had anything like that but it's been raining here for over a month with no end in sight. We've broken all kinds of records.

Kimberly, are you sure you aren't describing BC?!?
I feel for you! We had about 30 straight days a couple months ago and it was a VERY long month! Lego, playdoh and puzzles found their way to the table tops again.

We got spared last night as everything was either below us or above us. I just hate it those poor folks in upper West Tenn. got clobbered again.
I feel so fortunate. We spent the night on Beale street. Denise's son is a musician and played the Hard Rock Cafe last night. His buddy, a bass player from Lexington, Ky., came down and played with the band. My son and his girlfriend along with one of his buddies and his girlfrined came too. A very, very fun evening all around for us
